Rc Fighting Robots

Are you into the combat robots? If so, you know how much fun it is to experience an adrenaline rush when you are using your rc fighting robot to combat someone else's robot. It is exciting to hear the crowd cheer when your robot beats your opponent's rc fighting robot.

If you are just learning about rc fighting robots than you can learn about which robot to choose. You may want to start with one of the simple rc fighting robots designs. Most people start with a drive train, frame and plenty of armor. This way you are not spending a lot of money when you are first starting out. Plus, you will get the feel for the sport and you can upgrade to an rc fighting robot that you may think looks tough and impressive. Although you may not want to change to another style of robot as this design is one that wins many fights.

Another type of rc fighting robot is the lifter bot which has a solid 6-wheel drive train and will lift your opponent's robot so it is not on its wheels. This fighting robot is one step up from the rc fighting robot above.

You may want to add even more power and create a flipper bot. This bot will lift your opponent's robot and flip it over. Add more power and your flipper bot becomes a bot chucker. This fighting robot will "chuck" the other robot quite a few feet into the air. When your bot chucker hits the other robot it may damage or kill the other robot; if it does not die at that time, once it lands from being so high in the air, it will kill the other robot.

You may want to choose a hammer bot. Most hammer bots truly are not that successful at winning fights. There is one, however, named the Judge which will go through one-half inch of steel. This type of hammer bot can throw your opponents robot a few feet into the air even though it may weigh a few hundred pounds.

If you are a beginner with robots you may want to create a Thwackbot. This robot spins in place and the hammers attached with spin as well. When your opponent comes up to you, you can attack him/her.

Spinners are another type of robot you can choose to make. Spinners come with full body spinners, disk, blade, bar spinner blades that are vertical, horizontal or drum and/or thresher spinner blades.

To learn how to build your own robot you can check online to get ideas for inspiration and to find directions. You may want to check your local library or purchase a book or books on rc fighting robots.

If you get into fighting rc robots where there is a crowd and you want people to cheer for you, you will want to choose a robot that has many weapons. The weapons are very cool to look at and use but they can be difficult to keep working throughout the entire fight. Have fun creating one of the types of rc fighting robots and see which one works best for you.
