RC Powered Vehicles

RC powered vehicles are basic scaled versions of vehicles such as planes, boats, trains and helicopters, which are controlled by a radio system. This radio system is basically a combination of a transmitter and a receiver, as well as the speed controllers and other units which control the RC powered vehicle. But the main component is the servo, which is basically an electric motor which is attached to the servo arm of the vehicle. These batteries not only made the RC models extremely bulky, but they also didn?t last long and needed to be changed frequently.

As a result, the gas fueled powered RC vehicles became extremely popular among enthusiasts. Fuel powered RC planes not only give good speed and performance but they are also much lighter as compared to the earlier battery powered models. But these models are very difficult to maintain, as they have an actual internal combustions engine in them and thus, need maintenance and repair just like any other vehicle. Fuel powered RC models also need a lot of practice before you can properly handle them. But soon lithium batteries made a big entrance and have now changed the face of RC powered vehicles. Light and durable these vehicles are easy to handle and maintain.

Before you decide on a vehicle for yourself, understand that you can either buy an RC powered pre-constructed vehicle, RTF Models, or RC Kits, which require you to construct the vehicle model first before you can use it.
