Balsa is a type of hardwood ideal for making RC models of all shapes and sizes. An extremely light weight material, Balsa wood is extremely strong. RC balsa kits and almost Ready-to-Run models of various vehicles are extremely popular among hobbyists especially the do-it-yourself RC balsa kits that are available in many sizes and difficulty levels.
