GO - Chinese Board Game
The game of Go was invented in China and has been around for over two thousand years. According to a popular story, Go was invented on the orders of Yao, who was a Chinese king. He wanted his palace counselor to develop a game that would instill concentration and a sense of discipline in his son. Another version of the story states that Go was invented after observing the war strategies of tribes in China. In ancient times, Go was actually perceived to be a game of the upper class in China. It doesn't matter which of these stories is true, but one thing is definite fact that Go is a game that not only helps us improve concentration, but also instills a habit of thinking ahead.
